Returning Products Within 30 Days of Purchase

Any new, unopened and unused product purchased on the urbandriftscooter.com can be returned within 30 days for a refund (to original method of payment). Customer is responsible for return shipping fees on all orders and ensuring that the product arrives undamaged. Products purchased through an authorized retailer must follow the return policies of the retailer and cannot be returned to Urban Drift directly.

For us to better understand the problem and solve it effectively, photos and / or videos are REQUIRED as evidence.

*Definition of critically-damaged items: the main structure of the product is obviously deformed and affects its normal functions in any form. 

Note: the following situations will be seen as normal and will not apply to the free replacement or refund policy:

  • A) Minor damage to the outer packaging.
  • B) Minor scratches or paint loss on the product.
  • C) Damage to parts or wearing parts after excessive use.
  • D) Damage to parts or wearing parts after using for a certain while or a certain number of times.

When do we execute the refund? Upon receipt of the return package (if the customer returns the product to our warehouse)

Refunds for delivery costs 1. For non-defective products/No-longer needed Products, buyer is responsible for return shipping costs. We will deduct the shipping fee $80-$200/pc when we are making a refund.(Calculated based on product volume and weight)
2.For defective products, URBAN DRIFT is responsible for return shipping cost.
Refund time limit We will not able to accept the full refund after 30 days. The refund would be 40%-80%, it depends on the actual problem and situation. Shipping fee can not be refunded.
Return RMA validity

30 days (from the date the RMA was created)

 

A Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) must be requested from URBAN DRIFT within 30 days from the date of receipt of shipment. To request an RMA, contact URBAN DRIFT Service Team at service@urban-drift.com. URBAN DRIFT is not responsible for the shipping cost of the package returned by the customers themselves

In order to process your return, you must mail back your Cycling products in its original box with its original packing materials, after you receive our confirmation . No returns will be accepted without the original packing material. The scooter also need to be cleaned before shipping out. 

 

Refund

We offer 90 days Warranty for manufacturer defect that come with the product.
If a defect arises during the Warranty Period,Urban Drift  will repair the product at no charge using new parts or parts that are equivalent to new in performance and reliability, OR, exchange the product with an equivalent product that is new or formed from new and/or previously used parts that are equivalent to new in performance and reliability.
  • The product cannot be used for rental or commercial use.
  • The product cannot be used for competition
  • The Limited 90 Day Warranty only covers parts or issues due to manufacturer defects

For different time periods

1. Within 30 days: we will deduct the deliver shipping fee $80-200/unit and return shipping fee $80-200/unit when we are making a refund for non-defective products/No-longer needed Products.(Calculated based on product volume and weight)

2. 31-120 days: The refund would be 30%-80%, it depends on the actual problem and situation. Shipping fee can not be refunded.

3. Over 120 days: Refunds are not acceptable; Accept exchange new product

Damage & Protection

Unless reported prior to the return/exchange, the customer is responsible for ensuring that the product arrives undamaged and in working condition. Products returned in heavily used condition, with un-reported damages or without original packaging are subjected to an additional restocking fee amounting up to 50% of the original product purchase price.

Shipping Costs

All shipping costs for returns and exchanges after purchase are paid by the customer. Customers requesting exchanges under the warranty program are responsible for the shipping cost.

 Pre-order cancellation policy

Thank you for choosing our product. We understand that changes may occur during the shopping process, so we have developed the following cancellation policy to ensure you are informed when canceling your order.

1. Cancellation period:

You can cancel your order at any time before the product ships and receive a full refund.
After the product has been shipped, cancellations must meet certain conditions.
2. Cancel a shipped order:

If the order has already been shipped, cancellation may incur associated fees, including but not limited to shipping and handling fees.
While we will make every effort to accommodate your request, we cannot guarantee that shipments will stop immediately upon cancellation. During this time, you may be responsible for return shipping costs.
3. Product returns:

If you have received a product and decide to cancel your order, please ensure that the product is unused and in its original packaging.
Products need to be returned in their original condition to ensure a smooth refund process.
4. Refund processing:

Refunds will be processed once the returned product is received and inspected.
Refunds will be made using the payment method you used for your initial order, possibly minus applicable fees.
5. Special circumstances:

In some special circumstances, we may consider canceling the order on a case-by-case basis, but we reserve the right to make the final decision

Compensation time-frame

For returned items or items for exchange, we will need 3-6 business days upon receiving your item(s) to process the solution.

After this time, the refund time-frame is as below:

Paypal account refunds: Up to 48 hours
Credit card refunds: Between 7-14 business days

URBAN DRIFT 12-MONTH LIMITED WARRANTY

TO QUALIFY FOR WARRANTY SERVICE

  • You must present a copy of the sales receipt from an approved official store within 12 months of purchase or Order Number from urbandriftscooter.com
  • Quality-related warranty claims on purchases made through URBAN DRIFT authorized distributors and retailers, such as Amazon, are handled through URBAN DRIFT
  • The Limited 12-Month Warranty only covers parts or issues due to manufacturer defects
  • For most of the parts, it is 12-month warranty. For some components like the motor and battery, it is 6-month warranty.(The warranty period of accessories is separately stipulated).

BATTERIES

URBAN DRIFT provides 6-Month prorated warranty for batteries.

  • During 6-Month of service – A defective battery will be repaired or replaced at no cost to the customer. The warranty period for a repaired or replaced battery remains unchanged based on the original purchase date.
  • After the first 6-Month of service – URBAN DRIFT offers discounts for customers to buy new batteries.
  • Batteries purchased will have a new 6-Month warranty based on the purchase date.
  • No cash reimbursement will be made.
  • Batteries can be assessed and found defective directly by URBAN DRIFT

 

Shipping Damage Claims

In rare instances, the item received may be damaged during shipping. If shipping damage occurs, please contact service@urban-drift.com and provide us with photo or video proof.

NOTICE: we will not accept Shipping Damage Claims later than 7 days from receipt of products.

 

Limited Warranty Service Process

If you discover what you believe is a defect for your Product, please contact URBAN DRIFT at service@urban-drift.com. URBAN DRIFT’s technical support personnel will assist you in diagnosing and fixing any problems you may encounter in the use of your Product.

In the event we cannot help you fix the problem, you may be entitled to warranty service under this Limited Warranty.

In order to submit your Product for warranty service pursuant to this Limited Warranty, you will be asked to provide URBAN DRIFT with (i) the proof of purchase from an approved official store; and (ii) Order Number from urbandriftscooter.com

Upon verification of your eligibility, you will need to provide your name, email address, mailing address and contact telephone number in order to receive a return merchandise authorization (“RMA”) number. URBAN DRIFT must receive your defective Product within 30 days from URBAN DRIFT ’s issuance of an RMA to you. URBAN DRIFT  may direct you to a designated third party for warranty repairs.

You will be responsible for the cost of shipping and insuring the shipment of your Product to URBAN DRIFT, and you assume the risk of loss in the event your Product is lost or damaged during shipment from you to URBAN DRIFT. You must include your defective Product within the original packaging or URBAN DRIFT approved packaging, which will be provided at a cost, for the shipment of the Product to URBAN DRIFT. URBAN DRIFT will not be responsible for any damages caused by your improper packaging or shipment of the Product to URBAN DRIFT.

An authorized service provider will conduct an inspection of your Product. If URBAN DRIFT determines that the problem is not covered under the Limited Warranty, URBAN DRIFT will notify you and inform you of service or replacement alternatives that are available to you on a fee basis, or URBAN DRIFT will return your Product to you unrepaired, and in such instance, you will be responsible for the cost of shipping and insuring the shipment of your Product from URBAN DRIFT to you.

For eligible warranty claims, URBAN DRIFT will service defective product with new or reconditioned parts of same or similar style at no cost to you for the service. Parts replaced by URBAN DRIFT will be retained by, and become the property of URBAN DRIFT. For eligible warranty claims, URBAN DRIFT will pay reasonable return shipping charges for the return of the product to you.

 

Limited Warranty Exclusions

This Limited Warranty describes the service available to you in the event your Product requires warranty service, and you may have additional protections under your local laws. This Limited Warranty does not cover and excludes damage to your Product:

  • Caused by any repair that was unauthorized by URBAN DRIFT
  • Caused by abuse, misuse, neglect or commercial use.
  • Caused by improper charging, storage, or operation, including, without limitation, use contrary to the users’ materials, use exceeding specified height, weight and age limits, use on stairs, walls and curbs, or any extreme sport or exhibition use.
  • Caused by accident, collision, riding over obstacles, racing, fire, water submersion, high pressure water spray, freezing, earthquake, dropping, severe oxidation, or chemical solvent corrosion.
  • Caused from improper packaging or mishandling during shipping to the warranty-service provider.
  • Caused by the use of the Product with, or any modification to the Product using, any third party product, component or accessory that is not sold by URBAN DRIFT.
  • That does not arise from URBAN DRIFT’s product-design, technology, manufacturing or quality
  • This Limited 180 Day Warranty does not cover minor surface blemishes, rips, tears, or other cosmetic damage due to normal use, or other intentional or unintentional damage to the product.

Shipping Time: Around 15 Days 

This Battery works on the E1 electric scooter only.
